So we’ve rounded up our favorite Hoboken Halloween happenings! That way you can focus on what costume you’re going to wear…we know it’s a difficult decision. From a 5k, a SKare house, and various costume parties…there is no shortage of things to do to celebrate this treasured holiday. What do you have planned?

Featured Event: The Brass Rail’s Haunted Carnival: Saturday, October 29th
This year The Brass Rail will host their first ever Haunted Carnival. This night will include a tarot card reader, drink & shot specials, popcorn, candy apples, cotton candy, and carnival themed games with prizes. Located at 135 Washington Street.
Spooktacular at The Shannon: Thursday, October 27th
One of our favorite Irish bars, The Shannon, will host their Halloween party this Thursday evening. Beginning at 8PM they will offer $3 spooky shots, $5 ghoulish drink specials, $7 boo bombs, and cash prizes for the best costumes. Don’t miss this Spooktacular event. Located at 106 First Street.
PHI SIG SKare {Haunted} House: Friday, October 28th
What’s Halloween without a good scare? Visit the Phi Sig SKare House this Friday evening that promises to “SKare” anyone who enters. Tickets are just $5 with proceeds donated to the family who lost their loved one in the recent Hoboken Train Accident. Children & Families are welcome to visit from 5-7PM and Stevens Students are welcome from 8-10PM. Located at 837 Hudson Street.
Kolo Klub’s Day of the Dead Luau: Friday, October 28th
Burlesque shows, Luau-themed drinks, a DJ, costume contest, and NO COVER?This Friday evening at 9:00PM visit The Kolo Klub {located above the Biergarten} for their Day of the Dead Luau. Costumes are welcomed because there will be prizes. Located at 1422 Grand Street.
HHH’s 3rd Annual SPOOKtacular: Friday, October 28th
This Friday, Hoboken Happy Hours will host their 3rd Annual Halloween SPOOKtacular at The Ale House. Beginning at 9PM, there will be shot specials until 9:30PM, followed by $5 VDKA 6100 drinks, $3 Bud Light drafts and prizes for the BEST costumes. Located at 1034 Willow Ave.
HoBOOken 5K Halloween Run: Saturday, October 29th
The HoBOOken 5k will take place this Saturday morning and there’s still time for YOU to register. Before you indulge in a night of shenanigans, why not participate in the 5k that raised $50,000 for the Hoboken Shelter last year? For additional information and to register, click here. 21st Annual Halloween Party at Black Bear: Saturday, October 29th

City Bistro’s Costume Party: Saturday, October 29th
Hey uptowners…City Bistro will have their costume party this Saturday. Drink specials and prizes for the best of the best costumes. Located at 56 14th Street.
Maxwell’s Halloween Party: Saturday, October 29th
Maxwells is known for their live music and this Halloween…they are not disappointing. Join them this Saturday night for live music from 8:30PM-midnight that will include — Gravy Train in their front room from 8:30PM-11:30PM {followed by DJ WHOKNOWS} and ALEO-music‘s The David Bowie Engagement in the back venue from 9:00PM-12:00AM. There is NO cover before 10PM in the front bar and tickets for The David Bowie show can be found here — don’t forget to dress up because there will be prizes.

Ragamuffin Parade & Costume Contest: Monday, October 31st
The Annual Hoboken Ragamuffin Parade will take place on Monday, October 31st. The parade will start at 3:30PM and will feature live music, floats, and of course, COSTUMES. To participate, the march line setup will begin at 3:15PM on Washington St {between 13th & 14th St} and the contest will take place at 4:30PM once the parade has finished —happening at the Little League Field on 5th & River for FIVE age categories.
