What a difference. Add a skyline view to that and you’ve got… Fitness In the Park.

What it is: FREE fitness classes hosted weekly to Pier A park; the summer sessions are to give attendees a little taste of the wide varieties of gyms and fitness establishments in Hoboken.

Location: Pier A

Time: 7-8PM


All of the classes are on Mondays by the gazebo, 7pm-8pm…here’s the schedule:

June 2 — Fitness Meets Dance Studio

Ballroom Fit is a medley of Latin & ballroom dances with a fitness twist. Have fun dancing salsa, swing, cha-cha, jive, rumba, samba & more! No partner needed. Bring a mat, wear comfortable shoes. In case of rain call 551-221-1458. www.fitnessmeetsdance.com 

June 9 — CKO Kickboxing

June 16 — Hudson Vibe and Dance Fitness

Featuring Zumba by Susan Pascale. Zumba combines dance and fitness into a fun, high-energy workout set to Latin and international beats! Rate date: Friday, June 20 at Pier A. 201-981-4474; www.hudsonvibe.com

June 23  GoRow Training Studio

Full body workout! Designed for all levels. Half rowing, half rowing specific weight training and broken up into three rounds. The class concludes with sport specific static stretching. Rain location: 1422 Grand Street 4th floor. 201-448-5769; www.gorowstudios.com

June 30 — CrossFIT Hoboken

July 7 Devotion Yoga

July 14 — Local Barre

All levels. A fusion of ballet fundamentals, core conditioning, yoga & stretching for a total body workout using lightly weighted yoga balls, stretching strap, ballet barre, playground ball, & yoga mat to achieve a lean, flexible body. July 28 — Work it Out Fitness Studios

August 11 — Stroller Power Fitness
