One of our favorite parts about summertime in Hoboken is the array of outdoor events that happen around the Mile Square. On July 29th Giordano Group of Keller Williams City Life Reality will host a Family Fun Day at Maxwell Place Park, and the best part is it’s totally free! This event was originally scheduled for this past May, but had to be postponed due to bad weather. For all of our Hoboken families, we’ve got the inside scoop on all of the fun things happening throughout the day. Read below for the full details — and make sure to bring the kids.
Starting at 11:00 AM and going until 3:00 PM, the park will be full of free activities, food, and refreshments. As a way to celebrate the start of the summer season, parents can get outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and get to know their neighbors. Throughout the day there will be tons of entertainment options for kids including a bounce house, face painting, lawn games, glitter tattoos {no judgement if any adults want some glitter too}, and arts and crafts provided by InterExchange Au Pair USA.
Chair massages will also be available to parents can get some relaxation time in while kids enjoy all of the great outdoor activities.
As if the day wasn’t fun enough, a magic show will take place from 1:00-1:45 PM. Plus, there will be opportunities to win prizes, including giftcards to some favorite Hoboken restaurants including Porter Collins, Antique Bar and Bakery, and Cucharamama. The event will also benefit two charities: The Giordano Group will also be making donations to Giveback Homes and the Special Olympics of New Jersey in honor of Family Fun Day.
