The work week is over, and the weekend is finally here — which means it’s time to plan out the weekend ahead. But thanks to Team Hoboken Girl, you won’t have to do much of the planning at all. We’ve got your roundup of events happening this weekend {from Thursday to Sunday}, along with some weekday events happening next week. Our annual Hoboken Wellness Crawl is happening THIS Sunday, April 22nd, {rain [or snow?] or shine} and tickets are still on sale but almost sold out. In case you aren’t in the loop, the Hoboken Wellness Crawl is a celebration of all things wellness in Hoboken + Jersey City {aka a bar crawl without the booze but + the fitness, beauty, and fun}. Each year, we line up the best local businesses to bring you a sampling of the amazing health, beauty, food, and fitness offerings in town. Over 90 vendors are participating citywide, and they’re all giving freebies out to crawlers {+ hosting giveaways}. Get your tickets here and view all the event details here.

Jersey City Craft Brew Fest: Saturday, April 21st

On Saturday, April 21st, the Jersey City Craft Brew Fest will return to the Harborside Atrium featuring styles of craft beer. The festival will be celebrated in the spirit of Oktoberfest and feature a wide variety of fermented beers and ciders, many of which are from local breweries. Tickets give guests access to beer samples throughout the event, along with entertainment, interactive games, and a variety of delicious food options that will also be available. There are two ticketed sessions for the event. The first session from 1:00PM-4:30PM and the second session runs from 6:00PM-9:30PM. The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi at Mile Square Theatre {Running Through May 6th}

Beginning April 14THMile Square Theatre presents public performances of its revival production of Y York’s The Garden of Rikki Tikki TaviRestaging its 2011 production for a new audience, MST is thrilled to reunite much of the creative team from the earlier production, including MST Artistic Director Chris O’Connor and actor Blaire Brooks {Bull, Blacklist} as Darzee the Tailor Bird. The cast includes MST regular Andrew Baldwin {Frog and Toad}, Cameron Blankenship {Lyric Rep}, and Arielle Legere {Princess K.I.M.}. This comedy about sharing, cooperation, and growing up will appeal to all audiences 4 years and older. Tickets can be purchased here.

Adopt a New Friend With Furnished Headquarters & Bideawee: Thursday, April 19th, 4:00PM-7:00PM

Luxe Style Expo Luxury Shopping Event at HUB: Thursday, April 19th 6:00PM-9:00PM

Join Mint Market + others at the HUB in Hoboken {16 Hudson Place} for a girls night out with hor d’oeuvres and an open bar from 6:00PM-9:00PM. Indie Rock History: The Hoboken & Jersey City Chapter Thursday, April 19th 7:30PM

Listen to local luminaries and look back at the history of music in Hudson County. The host of the panel will be Todd “Todd-O-Phonic Todd” Abramson, the long time booker and co-owner of Hoboken’s legendary Maxwell Tavern. Admission is free. More info here.

The Breakfast Club Monthly Networking at Halifax Friday, April 20th 7:30AM-9:00AM

Magnolia Landing at Journal Squared will continue its event series in Jersey City’s Journal Square neighborhood on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The outdoor gathering, curated by Marketplace JC, will feature food and drink, local crafts and live music provided by Peter Lin and Orion Burre in the plaza at rental development Journal Squared. The bi-weekly series is comprised of more than 20 local vendors and artisans. PKL Properties has teamed up with Antique Bakery and Family Promise to help combat homelessness in Hudson County with a Silent Disco Party. The event will take place at Antique Bakery in Hoboken {122 Willow Avenue}. Tickets are $40 at the door and proceeds will benefit Family Promise to help them offer housing and resources to those affected by poverty in Hudson County.
