Dorrian’s Red Hand located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, February 26th and Friday, March 4th at 7:00PM and 9:00PM. The Laugh Tour is hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature comedians from Netflix, The Tonight Show, TikTok, America’s Got Talent, and more. Show tickets purchased online in-advance of the show are $15 and are $20 day of and at the door with a 2 item minimum per person. Additional shows to take place the rest of March through June. Please note, doors to exterior are ajar for ventilation with fireplace on inside and weather permitting shows are outdoors on terrace. (All indoor events will require proof of vaccination or 72-hour negative test with ID+ masks encouraged.)

Hoboken Historical Museum | Hoboken

The Hoboken Historical Museum was able to open during Phase two of the COVID-19 Reopening Plan. With the ability to accept a limited number of guests and to participate safely in city-wide events, the Hoboken Historical Museum is periodically in need of volunteers. To check if a need comes up and slots are available, check the sign-up form here. Volunteers are usually needed to set up information pamphlets, welcome registered guests, organize literature, etc. Learn more here.


Liberty Humane Society | Jersey City

The Liberty Humane Society is an open admission shelter contracted by Jersey City, Hoboken, and Bayonne to take in strays day or night, medically assess the animals, give them vaccinations and microchips, spay or neuter them, and gets them socially prepared for lifelong adoptions. Volunteers help the shelter run smoothly, increase adoptions, and help make the animals happier. Learn more here.


True Mentors | Hoboken 

True Mentors is Hoboken’s only one-to-one mentor program. The program matches children ages 7-17 with trained mentors. Volunteers are needed to serve as mentors and can sign up to be trained. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and must make at least a 1-year commitment to their mentee for a minimum of 8 hours per month. Learn more here.
