Jersey City and Hoboken sure know how to do summer with all the best outdoor spots, drinks, food, and entertainment, but fall isn’t any different. The annual HDSID’s ‘All About Downtown Street Fair’ is back on September 21st, and it’s hosting over 325 unique and local vendors. They will be lining the streets from the Grove Path Plaza all the way to Coles Street. Mark your calendar — this event is happening rain or shine, so have a few different outfits ready to go. Below, we’re breaking down some of the top vendors to find at the fair AND spilling the details of a very special giveaway series happening on our Instagram {with some pretty amazing prizes from local vendors}. About the Street Fair
This is the HDSID’s premier event of the season, where visitors and vendors come together in downtown Jersey City to celebrate, eat, and shop. The annual All About Downtown Street Fair started in 2011 and featured over a hundred vendors selling products ranging from handmade jewelry to one of a kind artwork. Last years’ event brought over 40,000 {!} people into downtown Jersey City and over 200 vendors sold everything from vintage clothes and hand-poured candles to gyros and arepas. The event features a Kidszone area with rides, face painting, and kid-friendly vendors as well. You’ll see the local bars and restaurants you love set up with outdoor beer gardens and rum bars. Food vendors feature cuisines from around the world that confirm Jersey City’s title as the ‘Most Diverse City’ in the United States.
