This Englewood School is Hosting Virtual Back-to-School Events

Dwight-Englewood School is an independent day school in Bergen County that teaches students from preschool (age three) to 12th grade. The school is currently hosting in-person tours for prospective families who have begun an online application as well as virtual Open House Events for those who are interested in the 2022-2023 admissions season. Located at 315 E Palisade Avenue in Englewood, Dwight-Englewood School is just a short commute from Hoboken — making the trip to and from school easy + convenient. Dwight-Englewood School is a co-ed independent day school for preschool (age three) to 12th grade students. The school has about 900 students and is one of the most ethnically diverse schools in Bergen County, with students representing over 80 communities in New Jersey and New York. The school itself, which is located just minutes from the George Washington Bridge, is set on a beautiful 45+ acre campus and features state-of-the-art facilities and green space.

As a community of learners, Dwight-Englewood School strives to foster in each student a passion for lifelong learning. The Lower School (preschool to 5th grade), Middle School (6th grade to 8th grade), and Upper School (9th grade to 12th grade) each have virtual events that prospective parents and students are invited to attend and learn more about the school’s educational experience.

Fall Virtual Admissions Events

In the Virtual Local Meet + Greet event, prospective families will have the chance to hear from local faculty, parents, and students about their experiences.. The Virtual Campus Tours allow inquiring families to virtually visit campus and learn about the programs and community before deciding to apply. Families can also learn more about the ins and outs of the financial aid options at Dwight-Englewood by attending the Financial Aid Q&A.

Lower School

The youngest students at Dwight Englewood School, who range from preschool 3 through grade 5, attend the Lower School. Students engage with each other to play, learn, and grow into who they are, exploring their identities and learning new perspectives. Each student is given opportunities to challenge their ideas, become critical thinkers, and begin paving the way for making the world a better place.

Middle School

The students in the Dwight Englewood Middle School attend grade 6 to grade 8. Each grade level is unified around a theme to connect the experiences in the core curriculum. At the Virtual Open House event, participants will hear from school admissions officers as they highlight the significance of the Middle School years and their impact on young adolescent success.

Upper School

The Upper School curriculum begins with a two year core program to meet the needs of each individual student and introduce them to a higher level of study for the future. Students in grade 9 through grade 12 attend Upper School. Prospective students can get to know the campus through the guided Virtual Campus Tours while also learning more about the programs and community before applying.
