Non-invasive cosmetic procedures are quite popular nowadays, as it’s less permanent than going under the knife, and the recovering + healing time is hours instead of days or weeks. But, that doesn’t mean you don’t have questions or concerns about taking the leap to try a non-invasive procedure, such as Botox. Even though Botox has been around for years, there’s still a lot of misconceptions about it, and that’s why Dr. Park Avenue, located at 80 River St, Suite 4A in Hoboken, is hosting their Bagels and Botox event on November 23rd at 10:30AM. They host this event about 4 times a year to answer questions and provide a live demonstration of Botox. About Bagels and Botox
Being held on November 23rd at 10:30AM, the event is pretty straight forward and promises exactly what it advertises. Bagels and coffee will be served, {yummy} and the seasoned injectors at Dr. Park Ave will host a Q+A session all about Botox, so you’ll have all your questions and curiosities answered. They’ll also perform a live demonstration of a Botox treatment so that you can see exactly what happens and decide whether or not it’s right for you. This no-pressure + comfortable environment allows you to become educated and ask all your questions, even the ones you think might be silly.
All attendees of the event will also receive $50 off a Botox package, plus a FREE Glutathione shot, which helps fight the signs of aging skin and reverses the effects of free radicals.
What Botox is Used For
Botox {which is short for Botulinum toxin} is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles. Patients also use Botox to treat excessive sweating and migraines. Botox can be used to help patients who are currently facing unwanted lines, but also preventatively for patients who wish to keep their skin wrinkle-free. It’s also great for suffering from TMJ, as it helps relax the muscles around the jaw.
About the Injectors
Once you feel ready to move forward with your Botox treatment, you’ll want to work with injectors you trust. The injectors at Dr. Park Avenue are experts in their field and are known to create a natural look for their patients. Some of team HG has even used them personally, so we can say first-hand that Emily and Jordan are the real deal.
Jordan’s expertise comes from working under some of the most recognizable names in aesthetic medicine in New York City. Jordan is hosting the “Bagels and Botox” event so you have a chance to get to know her and see her in action. She will teach you all about Botox and other fillers and her live demo shows the entire process from start to finish.
Emily makes her patients comfortable with her bedside manner and years of experience. She takes the time to understand what her patient’s objective is and then maps out a plan of action. Emily has been a board-certified Physician Assistant and aesthetic injector for over 13 years. She has worked for Merz Aesthetics as a practice trainer, training NYC’s top medical practices in Xeomin [generic for Botox], Radiesse, Belotero, and Versa.
