It’s no secret that Hudson County is home to some ahhhhdorable kids and pets. But those super cute little ones + four-legged friends we see walking around, well, they’ve got some equally as cute parents. Of course, as Father’s Day gets closer {it’s in two weeks, ya’ll}, we’re looking for the cutest dads in Hudson County {some serious man candy + cuteness, all wrapped into one}. Keep reading to find out all about our contest for the Cutest Dad in Hudson County 2019 and how to nominate your favorite dad in the area {hint: email us!}.
How it Works + How to Enter the Contest
- If you’ve got a dad in mind that you’d like to nominate this year, email a picture of said dad and his child or dog {yes, we’re allowing dog parent submissions, too} + the full name of your nominee to hobokengirlteam@gmail.com with the subject line “Cutest Dad 2019 Nominee.”
- Before sending off your email, include a blurb as to why you think this dad should be named the Cutest Dad in Hudson County in 200 words or less.
- Submit your photos by Wednesday, June 5th 2019 to our email.
- There will be several finalists that will then be voted on via our site [details to come], and the winner will receive a grand prize {below}!

Last Year’s Winner
Our Cutest Dad 2018 was a local father named Agan. His wife, Raakhee, shared with Hoboken Girl that from the day she met him, she simply knew he would be a great husband and today is a phenomenal dad to their daughter Satya.
Here’s what Raakhee had to say:
“I knew Agan would be a great husband the day I met him. But to see him as a dad to our daughter Satya makes me love him even harder. (Unless he forgets to take out the trash or do the laundry, but that’s a story for another day!) Whether he’s wearing a powder blue unicorn onesie for Halloween or tieing a turban on her to match his own – true stories, both her requests –Agan is a man who celebrates Satya and me for who we are, a true feminist to his core. And while I know Satya likes him the best, well, it’s hard to be mad. Truth is, I like him the best too!”
