• Where to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Hoboken + Jersey City

    Written by:

Over the past 150+ years, Cinco de Mayo has turned into an unofficial holiday in US— typically celebrated with Coronas, margaritas, and tacos at a local bar or restaurant. But while it’s super fun to celebrate, it’s important to remember that the holiday stems from an unlikely Mexican victory over France at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862.

That being said, Coronas + tacos = a good day any day, so we’re not going to withhold this necessary info from you. To help with your weekend planning, we’ve rounded up Cinco de Mayo celebrations around Hoboken and Jersey City. Read on to find out where to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Hoboken + Jersey City this year.
