While both of these pups have different personalities, they are of course both looking for a loving forever family to spend the rest of their lives with. Rivi (Rivington)

Waldo’s Rescue Pen

rivi

Name: Rivi (aka Rivington)

Breed: Mixed breed (Lab/Pitbull likely)

Age: 2 1/2

Ideal Home: Rivi would do best in an adult-only home.

Dogs: Rivi does well with other dogs, but is much more chill around female spayed dogs.

Cats: Yes

Kids: No

Crate-Trained: Yes

House Trained: Yes

Other training: Rivi is very well trained, but can get excited when someone comes home that he is happy to see. With his training regimen back in place, Rivi will quickly remember how to remain in place when someone comes into the home. Additionally, Rivi will come with unlimited training for the rest of his life in Millstone, NJ, where the bond between him + his new owner will continue to be strengthened.

Leash manners: Rivi walks well on a leash and is actually very frightened of the grates in the city. He will pull in the opposite direction if not moved out of the way ahead of time.

Personality: Rivi is loyal to a fault, he is quite weary around new people so he needs an adult-only home that is experienced with dogs, and understands giving him safe boundaries and utilizing the tools and training that Rivi has. He is a special dog with some fears and Waldo’s Rescue knows there is a family out there for him that is willing to be very patient and learn alongside him.

Why he/she was brought to the rescue: Rivi’s previous owner surrendered him to a kill shelter and Waldo’s Rescue saved him July 2021.
