While being in quarantine stinks, it’s something we’re doing for the greater good and to keep each other safe. Brunch, on the other hand, does not stink. In fact, it makes everything better. Luckily, Hoboken and Jersey City are no strangers to quality spots that do brunch like no other. All of these options are available for contact-less delivery as well as curbside pick up, so you can have your favorite brunch right in the comfort of your home. Check out these spots that are making brunch delivery possible.

Hoboken

10th and Willow {935 Willow Avenue}

Brunch starts every day at 12:00PM and runs until 8:00PM for delivery and takeout. It’s hard to resist chocolate chip and banana pancakes or breakfast sliders, especially in quarantine. Order today and support local businesses.

Ali Baba {912 Washington Street}

If it’s Middle Eastern cuisine that’s on your mind, Ali Baba is open for business! Opening each day at 11:00AM, they will be serving a full menu. The restaurant is offering both curbside pickup and delivery for your convenience as well as offering $5 off any order $30 or more.

Anthony David’s {953 Bloomfield Street}

Chef Pino and his team have been working tirelessly at AD’s to prepare delicious meals for their guests. The restaurant will be open every day for takeout and delivery from 9:00AM until 3:00PM and will be offering most of its brunch menu, which could be found on the website under Grubhub and UberEats.

Bagels on the Hudson {802 Washington Street}

This Hoboken staple is open and serves brunch 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Delivery and pick up are available and orders can be placed online on the website. Bagels on Hudson has breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and other hot and cold sandwiches. The shop is also offering care packages that include everything needed for a delicious brunch {think bagels, spreads, cold cuts, juices, and even lox}.

Blue Eyes {525 Sinatra Drive}

This waterfront Italian eatery will be serving up it’s oh so loved brunch pizza for $15. The brunch pizza is loaded with mozzarella, eggs, baked potatoes, mushrooms, red onions, and pancetta bacon. Stop by {but keep your distance} to pick up your brunch pie.

Green Pear Cafe {93 Grand Street, Hoboken + 93 Franklin Street, Jersey City}

Both Green Pear locations will be open for delivery and pick up and can be accessed through their website. The restaurant has a selection of omelets, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, crepes, salads, and much more. There are also smoothies and juices available!

La Bouche Cafe {207 Washington Street}

This European cafe is serving from a special menu and offering curbside pickup and contact-free delivery. All orders should be placed using the website and through Grubhub and Uber Eats. La Bouche will have a selection of breakfast and lunch options as well as crepes, cakes, cookies, coffees, and other hot drinks. Quarantine or not, it’s hard to resist a brioche French toast or a croque madame hot off the grill.

Napoli’s Pizza {133 Clinton Street}

Brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00AM until 4:00PM at the downtown Napoli’s location for delivery and takeout. This shop has a breakfast pizza loaded with over-easy eggs and your choice of bacon, sausage, prosciutto, or ham. Napoli’s is also serving Eggs Benedict, build your own omelets, french toast, and pancakes. 

O’Bagel {600 Washington Street}

Open until 2:00PM every day, O’Bagel is serving food with contact-free online delivery and pick up. This local shop is also giving back to local medical workers on the front line with its “Donation Dozen.” Here’s how it works — buy a dozen bagels from the site and O’Bagel will match that dozen and donate to medical workers on the frontlines. So far, O’Bagel has already donated thousands of bagels. Be sure to try the Ridge Diablo sandwich, a sandwich that owner Stephen El-Hassan recreated on the TV show, Guy’s Grocery Games, which led him to victory.

Shaka Bowl {110 Washington Street}

The downtown Shaka Bowl location is open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu can be found here and can be accessed by clicking on “online ordering.” Shaka Bowl is offering contact-free pick-up and delivery to ensure everyone’s safety. The restaurant is also offering 15% off using the code “delivery15” for any order over $20. 

Tony Boloney’s {263 1st Street}

If you, like most people, thought that Tony Boloney’s was just a lunch and dinner spot, think again— it has brunch, too! The avocado toast brunch pizza {avocado, smoked sea salt, runny eggs, harissa, and Sicilian lemon} ensures all who eat it will have a great day. Brunch can be found online here. Curbside pickup and delivery are both available.

Jersey City

Broa Cafe {297 Grove Street}

Broa Cafe is opening up at 11:30AM each day to serve all your brunch needs. They have a brunch menu coming out and are even doing an Easter Brunch special as well. The menu can be found on their website, Grubhub, Seamless, and Doordash. They have delivery available through the different apps and curbside pick up available from the cafe. 

Busy Bee Organics {451 Palisade Avenue}

Ordering from Busy Bee couldn’t be any easier, just place an order between Friday and Sunday at midnight to ensure your delivery to JC and Hoboken on Mondays between 5:00PM and 9:00PM. Pickup is also available on Monday and Tuesdays around town. Some brunch items include vegan muffins, breakfast cookies, parfaits, eggs, breakfast sammies, overnight oats, and more.

Cafe Madelaine {34 Coles Street}

For a délicieux French treat, head to Cafe Madelaine. They are offering contact-less pick up at their storefront and have tons of pastries, doughs, croques, and quiches to give you a little taste of  France at home.. They even have frozen doughs and pastries for you to pop in the oven and enjoy fresh. The cafe will also be offering “make your own quiche and croque kits,” which require minimal work.

Cellar 335 {335 Newark Avenue}

Aloha from everyone’s favorite Tiki bar and restaurant. For the time being, Cellar 335 will be doing food and liquor pickup and delivery. All of the proceeds are going directly to the staff so anything purchased during this time takes care care of their team. Orders can be placed Thursday through Saturday between 1:00PM and 5:00PM either by emailing tikipete@cellar335.com or by calling 201-222-1422. 

Griot Cafe {434 Central Avenue}

Why not try something new and unique at Griot Cafe, an Afro-Caribbean cafe located in the JC Heights. They will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00AM until 5:00PM and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Please place all pick-up orders over the phone {201-420-9444} and all deliveries through UberEats and Grubhub. The Griot Sandwich {GF, plantain based, and your choice of chicken, pork, or vegan} is their most loved menu item. They also have mac and cheese gratine with a Haitian and French twist, Creole chicken and waffle and so much more. They also carry hot and cold drinks {#score}.

Harry’s Daughter {339 Communipaw Avenue}

This Caribbean restaurant is open from 2:00PM until 10:00PM each day and is serving from their Brunch menu. They will be offering their Bakes {a Caribbean sandwich} with eggs, cheese, jerk chicken, or shrimp. Check out this unique restaurant by ordering online or placing an order for contactless pickup.

Luna Restaurant and Bar {279 Grove Street}

The moon is shining bright at Luna, who will be serving their brunch menu all day every day from 3:00PM until 9:00PM {with the exception of Saturday where they open at 12:00PM}. If that’s not taking brunch to the next level, just wait for this — pick up and delivery are both available but guests who pick up can enjoy a glass of Mimosa on the house while they wait on Saturdays. From chicken and waffles to churrasco and eggs, the limit does not exist — not over the moon, at least.

Uncle Momo {289 Grove Street}

This Lebanese and French fusion restaurant will be serving from their regular menu every day from 11:00AM until 10:00PM {closing Sundays at 9:00PM}, including brunch with an array of waffles, omelets, avocado toast, and eggs Benedict/Florentine/nantua. They even have a special quarantine menu featuring different options like vegan burgers, baked lasagna, chicken shawarma, grape leaves with tzatziki, and much more. Orders can be placed online using Grubhub and Doordash.
