October is finally here, which means that today marks the official start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All month long, events that aim to raise money for the cause and honor those who are suffering or who have suffered from breast cancer will be happening nationwide. Of course, our little slice of the country here in Hudson County is taking part in the month-long event by hosting a slew of local events that pay homage to those who have been affected by breast cancer in one way or another. Keep reading for all the breast cancer awareness month events happening Hoboken, Jersey City, and beyond this October 2019.

Workout + Fight for a Cure — Every Weekend in October
Work it Out will be honoring those affected by breast cancer with special classes each weekend that are donation based. A donation of $10 or more will be collected when you arrive for the class and all the donations collected will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Get more information here.
More Than Pink Wellness Expo — Sunday, October 6th from 12:00PM-4:00PM
Harborside Atrium {210 Hudson Street, Jersey City} will host the More Than Pink Wellness Expo which will feature free clinical breast exams, mammograms, health/wellness exhibits, and more. Get more information about this event here.
Sweat Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Dance Fitness Party — Sunday, October 6th from 12:00PM-2:00PM
The Hudson Dance Studio {986 River Road, Edgewater} will be hosting an epic dance event to help raise awareness for breast cancer. Get more information here.
Girl Power Themed Rides at Prime Cycle — Saturday, October 12th through Saturday, October 19th
Prime Cycle will be honoring breast cancer awareness month by hosting a variety of girl power themed rides featuring music from a slew of big-name female artists. Making Strides of Bergen County — Saturday, October 12th at 8:00AM

The 6th Anniversary of Think Pink Celebration of Life — Wednesday, October 23rd from 7:00PM-10:00PM

Power of Pink — Susan Lucianna Breast Cancer Fund — Thursday, October 24th from 7:00PM-11:00PM
