It’s the week leading up to Halloween weekend, which means there will be plenty of fun events and themed specials going on in Hudson County. From Halloween Paint Night to Terminal of Terror 2, here’s what’s in store for you with the best Hoboken and Jersey City happy hours of the week.

Monday – October 23rd
The ‘Fest is Yet to Come! at Pilsener Haus {Hoboken}
Pilsener Haus and Biergarten {1422 Grand St.} invites you and your friends to their Oktoberfest — a night of beer, schnitzel, and Monday Night Football, of course. All are welcome to the ‘fest from 8-10PM.
Tuesday – October 24th
Halloween Paint Night at Wicked Wolf {Hoboken}
Join Wicked Wolf {120 Sinatra Dr.} for Halloween Paint Night. Jeremy Entertainment Company and Jess Fleming will lead the class in a Halloween edition spider web painting. Paint class will start at 7PM, so get your tickets here.
Connect the Dots Tour with Misterwives, Smallpools, and Vinyl Theatre at White Eagle Hall {Jersey City}
White Eagle Hall {337 Newark Ave.} is hosting three awesome bands this Tuesday night. Jam with Misterwives, Smallpools, and Vinyl Theatre all in one place. Grab some friends, some drinks, and your tickets here. Doors open at 7PM and the show starts at 8PM.
Wednesday – October 25th
Oktoberfest at Stevens Alumni Association {Hoboken}
Can’t get enough of Oktoberfest? The Stevens Alumni Association has got you covered. Enjoy an array of new beers, hand selected by alumnus Dave Manhas {class of ’88} who will use his expert knowledge to explain the flavors of each beer. Paint and Sip: Music Edition at 107 Bowers Gallery and Art Space {Jersey City}
Paint and Sip is in Jersey City Heights this Wednesday. Enjoy music, wine, and painting from 7-9PM. There will be four album covers to choose from to paint. For $35, all materials are included, besides the wine which is BYOB. Space is very limited so get your tickets fast!
Thursday – October 26th
WOW Comedy Featuring Mike Recine at Mulligan’s {Hoboken}
Come out to Mulligan’s {159 1st St.} this Thursday for a night of endless laughs and delicious drinks. Mike Recine, seen on Conan, will be performing. Tickets are $10, cash only. {Psst – check out our feature on WOW Comedy.}
Halloween Social at Barcade {Jersey City}
Barcade {163 Newark Ave.} is starting the Halloween festivities a bit early with their Halloween Social. Join them from 4-10PM for some spooky cocktails and beer while playing a few awesome games.
Friday – October 27th
Terminal of Terror 2 at The Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal {Jersey City}
Living Nightmare and Chickpeajc present Terminal of Terror 2, their second annual Halloween event that you won’t forget. The Central Railroad of NJ will transform into a spook-tacular venue full of food and drinks, activities, and dancing all night long. Enjoy two celeb DJs and an epic costume contest with a large cash prize. You’re not going to want to miss this, so get all the details here.
Flow-in-the-Dark Yoga Halloween at Local Barre West {Hoboken}
Kick off your Halloween weekend with us on October 27th at our Flow-in-the-Dark Yoga Halloween event. We’re teaming up with Hudson Yoga Project at Local Barre West {720 Monroe St. Suite #C300}. Check-in will start at 7:30PM and the “glow-ga” class will begin at 8PM under the black lights. Afterwards, we’ll have some Halloween treats from local vendors. Don’t forget to wear your brightest neon attire and get your tickets here.
Saturday – October 28th
Heaven and Hell Halloween at Green Rock Tap and Grill {Hoboken}
Green Rock Tap and Grill {70 Hudson St.} is inviting everyone to come to their Heaven and Hell themed Halloween party. Whether you are a devil or an angel, come out this Saturday to enjoy drinks and dancing all night and to cause some mischief. The party starts at 9PM.

After the Harvest Wine and Food Event at the Culinary Conference Center {Jersey City}
The Culinary Institute at Hudson County Community College has partnered with Garden State Wine Growers Association and the Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs to host After the Harvest: Wine and Food Event. The event will feature NJ wineries, wine tastings and pairings, wine tutorials, and live music. The fun will run from 1-6PM and be held at the Culinary Conference Center {161 Newkirk St.}. Sunday – October 29th
Loud, Proud, and Scary Halloween Open Mic for Hurricane Relief at LITM {Jersey City}
Join LITM {140 Newark Ave.} for a free Halloween edition of Loud and Proud Open Mic Night. Come to perform or just for the entertainment on Sunday from 6-10PM. Costumes are strongly encouraged {all costumed guests will receive 10% off their tabs} and they will be serving spooky specialty cocktails. They will also be raising money for hurricane relief, so don’t miss out on this fun night. Guests interested in performing must email samlynnlong@gmail.com to be added to the lineup.
Second Annual Halloween Hike and Brew {Hoboken}
Live More Adventures is hosting their Second Annual Hike and Brew this Sunday. Come out for a day of nature and delicious craft beer from Jersey Girl Brewery. The pickup departure will be at the Hoboken Path Station at 8:30AM. You will summit the beautiful Mount Tammany and afterwards, celebrate with craft beer and a team lunch, arriving back in Hoboken at 6:30PM. The ticket will cover round trip transportation from Hoboken, guided hike, custom flight tasting, brewery tour, and lunch. Get your tickets here.
