The two B’s that every happy hour connoisseur wants to hear: blues + booze! Live music and drink specials are the perfect combo, so head over to Porter Collins on Tuesday for just that: half-priced Porter Collins cocktails  {classic or fresh fruit flavored} and $1 Blue Point oysters from 5 – 7 PM, followed by a live band at 7 PM.

Wednesday – May 3rd

Free Appetizers at Mikie Squared

Lunch plans = madeEvery Wednesday at Mikie Squared, enjoy a free appetizer with your lunch {we suggest washing it all down with a pitcher}. Bring your friends for a mid-week lunch date filled with delish munchies + drinks {check out their menu here}.

Thursday – May 4th

Martini Thursdays at Village Pourhouse

Village Pourhouse has an all new Thursday happy hour that we’re pumped about: Martini Thursdays, because thirsty Thursday shouldn’t be celebrated any other way. Enjoy $5 Absolut Martini’s all night {tomorrow’s basically the weekend… right?} + $2 off drinks during happy hour, accompanied by live music. Please and thank you.

or

Mr. McSwiggans at McSwiggans Pub

For a different spin on happy hour celebrations, stop by McSwiggans for their very first Mr. McSwiggans pageant: win cool prizes + check out the handsome fellas running as they show off their talents and suave looks {BTW – you get to choose the winner!}. Man Crush Monday? More like Man Crush Thursday, if you will.

Friday – May 5th

Cinco De Mayo Block Party

Why limit Cinco celebrations to just one bar, when you can celebrate all over the Mile Square? This Friday, Cadillac Cantina, Texas Arizona, Hoboken’s new Hudson Ultra Bar + Mike’s Wild Moose Saloon are hosting their first annual Cinco De Mayo Block Party: celebrate with food, drink, + shot specials accompanied by live DJ’s at every bar. Time to “fiesta like there’s no mañana.”  Stay tuned for our weekend events guide coming soon!

Saturday – May 6th

Derby Viewing Party at The Brass Rail

Break out the sundresses + floppy hats, and let the Derby Day festivities commence: This Saturday, watch the 2017 Kentucky Derby at The Brass Rail’s Derby Viewing Party where you can bring Louisville to the Mile Square with $5 Jim Beam Black Mint Juleps, Jim Beam Apple Juleps, + Jim Beam drinks. You can bet this won’t be a celebration to miss.

Sunday – May 7th

After a long, eventful weekend of celebrating, brunching at Black Bear is a must. Make your own bloodies for $7, in addition to $5 Blue Moon + mimosa specials, $6 Manmosas + sangria from 11 AM – 3 PM. A Sunday well spent, indeed.
