For a unique solo or socially-distanced group activity, try rock climbing at the Gravity Vault in Hoboken. This local climbing gym is open seven days a week beginning at 9:00AM. Come early to start your day or go in the evening instead of to-go cocktail hopping around the Mile Square {you’re guaranteed to wake up feeling better than after a night of drinking}. The Gravity Vault has 25,00 square feet of climbing spread across two different floors and is open to both experienced and novice climbers. From top rope, lead walls and boulders, to dedicated strength training and cardio areas, this massive gym has something for everyone. Although indoor sports and sports leagues are currently not being offered due to the pandemic, you and your family, roommate, or closest friends can still get out there and play a socially-distant game of something at the local parks. The Hoboken Historical Museum has been around since the ‘80s and has rotating exhibitions and activities related to the history and culture of Hoboken. Visit the website to find out what exhibition is currently on display and discover new programs and activities like tai chi, meditation, and yoga. The museum is open six days a week and admission is only $5. Stop by on Saturday for a full day learning about Hoboken.
