My name is Zayn, and I am a young shepherd / boxer mix. I am a medium-sized doggie (I weigh around 60 lbs) with gorgeous caramel fur and chocolate brown eyes. I am a sweet, happy, wiggly doggie who has yet to meet a person he doesn’t like.

I did really well on my behavior test. I was tolerant of all handling, enjoyed being petted, and readily shared all my food and toys.

I walk very nicely on my leash, can sit and give paw on command, and have good manners. I adore being out and about and would make an excellent walking companion, especially for someone who is active. I also really enjoy playing with my toys; you should see me chase down a ball and retrieve it. Maybe I would even do well at agility!

I tested very well with children of all ages and was respectful and polite. However, my larger size and puppy energy might not make me the best fit for a very small kid. I bet I would be perfect for older children and teens. I would just love to have some human siblings!

Guess what else! I am super dog friendly. I love playing with my fellow dogs, and I have yet to meet a pup I do not love! I am all tail wags and play bows when I see a dog! If you have another dog of your own at home, please bring him or her along when you come to visit me.

Belly may in fact be the original ChillTown Cat.  This big orange boy is all about style, attitude, and playing it very, very cool.  Belly doesn’t need you to fawn over him, he already knows he’s the best.  Of course, everyone knows a few toys never hurt a cat, and some treats wouldn’t go remiss either.  But never you mind all that, Belly is cool, man.  He’s SO COOL.

Jen is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Hoboken Girl. She started the site to discover and share the wealth of things happening in Hudson County. Her roots in the area extend to her maternal grandparents, who owned two textile factories in Weehawken and North Bergen. When not planning the next Hoboken Girl event/volunteer project or editing her life away, she can usually be found shopping at local boutiques, eating an Insta-worthy meal, walking her French bulldog + rescue pup, or watching the latest murder doc on Netflix with her husband.
