Little woof! Hello! My name is Dori, and I am a young terrier / lab (hound?) mix. I am a little sweetheart who is great with people of all ages — including young children — and other doggies, too. You might just say I am perfect. 🙂

I tested well on all aspects of my behavior evaluation, I walk beautifully, and, for a younger doggie, I have nice manners. I can be little nibbly and silly when I am excited, but I correct easily. Mostly I love to cuddle with my favorite human people, give out kisses, and be adorable. I am loving, outgoing, and social. I recently went to an adoption event at a busy pier in Hoboken and was the star doggie of the day. I adored meeting everyone! I have a gentle disposition, easily share all my food and toys, and am affectionate and respectful. I bet I would make a wonderful doggie big sister to older children. Wow, that would be wonderful to have a family of my own!

Do you already own a doggie? That’s okay, I am dog friendly! I have done well with every dog I have met, including some really small pooches. Why not bring your doggie along with you when you come to visit me and we’ll see how we hit it off?

I am not at the shelter. Lucky me, I am living in a foster home in northern NJ! I have a doggie foster brother named Mikey and another doggie friend named Benny. If you would like to meet me, please complete an adoption application on the Liberty Humane Society website and we can arrange a meeting. This cuddly girl with the sunny personality cannot wait to meet you! I hope to see you soon!

    Love, Dori xoxo

Be prepared to meet one of the coolest cats in the cattery. Seniorita has been in the shelter for far too long and it is time that she finds her forever home. She’s doesn’t enjoy her kennel, but once she’s out on the floor, she’s a big ball of playfulness and love.

Jen is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Hoboken Girl. She started the site to discover and share the wealth of things happening in Hudson County. Her roots in the area extend to her maternal grandparents, who owned two textile factories in Weehawken and North Bergen. When not planning the next Hoboken Girl event/volunteer project or editing her life away, she can usually be found shopping at local boutiques, eating an Insta-worthy meal, walking her French bulldog + rescue pup, or watching the latest murder doc on Netflix with her husband.
