Adoptable Pet of the Week: Matty

It’s time for the cutest post of the week–featuring a furry friend ready for a good home!

Matty

Matty

Hi! My name is Matty, and I am a four month old mastiff / boxer mix. I am just a little guy now but I will grow to be a VERY large doggie … probably up over 100 lbs!  I am a puppy, so I have puppy manners.  But I have already learned how to sit on command, so I know that I am well on the road to becoming a well-mannered doggie.

I love everyone and everything — the world is such a great place! — but I would likely do best in an active household.  I have a lot of puppy energy to burn!   I would also do beautifully in a home with another doggie.  I love to play with doggies, although, as you might expect, my style of play is goofy and a bit rough. I recently got to play with my puppy friend Alexa here at the shelter. We had the best time … and being silly together was the only thing that tired us out!

If you are looking for a very large dog who is sweet, ridiculous (in a good way!), and will be your next jogging / hiking / swimming partner, I’m your boy. Please come visit me soon!

BOTH OF THESE WONDERFUL, ADOPTABLE ANIMALS ARE AT Liberty Humane Society, 235 Jersey City Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07305
