Adoptable Dog: Ted, The Playful + Forever Young Chihuahua

Written by:

Meet Ted, a 13-year-old chihuahua who is the perfect little sausage. Don’t let this 13-year-old’s age fool you, however, he is as spunky as he is adorable. If HG didn’t know his approximate birthday, the team would never believe this active, healthy guy is 13. Today, this pup is on the hunt for a new family and home he can love and feel the love in return from. This pup is up for adoption and would be a great addition to any home.

Ted is a fun, playful, cuddly little pup looking for his forever home. He, unfortunately, was surrendered to Wise Animal Rescue when his parents separated and decided they could no longer care for him. Ted had lived with this family his entire life but has been adjusting well to his foster home and is excited to find his forever family.

As mentioned earlier, this guy is no old man. Ted’s favorite activities include going for walks around Hoboken and playing with his porcupine toy that happens to look a bit like him. He also loves cuddles on the couch and watching TV. He’s the perfect best friend {and snuggle buddy}.

Ted is in good health and has full ability to see, run, and hear {especially when it’s dinner time}. He is potty and wee wee pad trained, crate trained, and is a really funny, happy little man. Ted used to live with a child and could definitely live in a home with older children. He also loves cats and can probably live with a similarly sized, calm dog who is OK just coexisting with him {he’s not a fan of playing with other dogs}.
