Meet Santana, an 11-year-old hound mix in need of some love and a home. Reader Susan got in touch with us to let us know about this adorable “love muffin” who’s hoping for a second chance and new family to call his own. This guy up for adoption would make a great addition to any home and a great companion for anyone.
A lover of ear {and booty} scratches, Santana is an all-around happy pup who is being fostered by reader Susan thanks to the Liberty Humane Society. Santana gets along well with other dogs and people, but unfortunately isn’t a self-proclaimed cat-lover.

Thanks to Santana’s ease around other dogs and humans, he would make a great addition to a home with small children {around ages six and up} or other dogs running around. Completely housebroken and able to sit on command, Santana would also make a great partner for any first-time dog owners.

Santana’s favorite pastime is playing, as he is a real puppy at heart. His favorite games are throwing a ball {ahem, fetch}, or tugging at a rope.
