Pet parents are aplenty here in Hudson County. Across Hoboken and Jersey City, you’ll find numerous pets around town living their best four-legged lives with their respective owners. But some of our furry friends out there are still in need of finding a loving home. One of those friends is Pablo — a pit bull-terrier mix up for adoption by Wise Animal Rescue. About Pablo
Meet Pablo — a two-year-old pup looking for his forever home. This house-trained doggo was rescued from a local municipal animal shelter and is now on the hunt for his new family. This friendly dog loves being around other dogs and people, as he has been described as “submissive, playful, and can be frequently found kissing the other dogs right on the mouth.” If you’ve got little ones, Pablo would be a great addition to your family as this guy is great with children. And for any families with other dogs, Pablo would be a great brother to another four-legged friend. Unfortunately, however, this guy is keen on cats.

Beyond his friendly nature, Pablo knows commands such as “sit” and “paw” and will act as your shadow at a home {he’ll follow you whether he is beckoned over or not}. He’s also incredibly affectionate, so if you’re in the market for some hugs or snuggles, Pablo is your dog. He loves giving kisses and “will gently jump onto you to give you a hug.”
Bonus — no need to spend any extra cash on dog toys ether, as this guy is more keen on going for walks and getting to meet new people and dogs. About Wise Animal Rescue
As stated before, Pablo is up for adoption through Wise Animal Rescue. Located in New Jersey, Wise Animal Rescue is a foster-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs for every breed and age to ensure that they are cared for and placed in a loving home. The organization also works with veterinary practices to help nurse any dogs in poor health back to good health and help save dogs’ lives. According to the organization’s website, the central mission of Wise is to, “ensure that all dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Prior to adoption, all of our dogs are placed into responsible loving foster homes to be socialized and trained rather than put in a shelter environment.”
