Jun’s Macaron Gelato {410 Washington Street}

The only thing better than a cup of gelato is topping it with a fresh macaron, amirite? Open until 11:00PM, Jun’s features homemade gelato as well as rolled gelato in an array of flavors like Gianduia {dark chocolate hazelnut} and Caramel Cashew Crunch. Customers will also be happy to know that gelato can be rolled up in a crepe {with Nutella} OR sandwiched in between two macarons. Another winning dessert here is the milk snowflake ice cream, a Taiwanese treat made from shaved condensed milk.

Late-night milkshake lovers unite. Open until 10:00PM, choose from any of the six ah-mazing milkshakes at Birch to satisfy that appetite, and throw some booze in for good measure {hey, it’s kind of like a nightcap, no judgment}.
Antique Bar and Bakery {122 Willow Avenue}

Open till 10:00PM Sunday – Wednesday, 11:00PM on Thursday and 12:00AM on Fridays & Saturdays, this is not only an excellent spot for dinner but an awesome location for dessert as well. Located close to the PATH and Hoboken Train Terminal, this tiny-yet-classic diner is ideal for all manner of nighttime food needs, including pies ranging from cherry to blueberry {get it topped with ice cream}, cheesecake, and chocolate layer cake.
Ben & Jerry’s {405 Washington Street}
Open until 11:00PM
This fan favorite ice cream shop in Hoboken is open until 11:00PM to satisfy that evening Brownie Batter craving – and bonus, the shop also offers froyo, non-dairy and sorbet options to satisfy all dietary needs.
16 Handles {1185 Maxwell Lane}
Open until 10:00PM
16 Handles is sure to satisfy any froyo craving, and they’re open relatively late {till 10:00PM}. With a large amount of froyo to choose from including Red Velvet Cake and Cold Brew Gelato, dump on the toppings and go almost guilt-free.
Insomnia Cookies {56 Newark Street}

With insomnia in the name, you know this is one of the top spots to get that cookie fix at the end of the day. Open for delivery until 3:00AM {not kidding}, order 2 cookies with a glass of milk or if you’re really feeling ravenous, boxes range from a six-pack all the way up to “The Insomniac,” a mix of 24 cookies ranging from Double Chocolate Mint to Peanut Butter Chip. This Brooklyn-favorite is located inside the Urby in downtown JC. Ample Hills has its own certified dairy plant that does all pasteurization on premises and makes just about everything from scratch — pretty impressive if you ask us. Open till 10:00PM, the creamery offers unique flavors such as Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and Nonna D’s Oatmeal Lace {brown sugar cinnamon with oatmeal lace cookies} – sounds nothing short of delightful.
Torico Ice Cream {20 Erie Street}
Open until 11:00PM
This neighborhood staple with fresh ingredients and tons of flavors to choose from including Banana Peanut Butter Chunk and Praline + Cream is open until 11:00PM during the summer and 10:00PM Sun-Thurs during the fall/winter season.

Angel’s Recipe Ice Cream & Crepes {312 Central Avenue}

Angel’s Recipe features both rolled and regular ice cream as well as a whopping 14 different dessert crepe combos {which can be made with regular batter, Nutella batter, OR gluten-free} including pear & brie cheese and strawberry mascarpone. The ice cream & crepe combo here proves to be the ultimate treat — loaded with toppings.
