GALentine’s Day at Sorellina {1036 Washington Street, Hoboken}

Thursday, February 7^th is GALentine’s night at one of our favorite Italian kitchen and wine bars, Sorellina. Enjoy a tasting of three different wines paired with assorted cheeses and chocolates for $45 per person. Reservations are available online or you can arrive on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event lasts until close at 10:00PM, so make sure to stop by with your best gal pals.

DIY Face Mask Social at Griot Cafe {434 Central Avenue, Jersey City}

Pholk Beauty founder Niambi Cacchoili is hosting a night of Afro-Caribbean Diaspora on February 9^th at Jersey City’s Griot Café to teach guests how to nourish their skin. Ingredients provided will include Trinidadian cacao powder, Ghanaian moringa, Moroccan rose oil, and Georgia clay. Tickets are $5, which can go toward any Pholk skincare purchase afterward. The social is from 5:00PM-6:00PM, with a happy hour to follow.

Self Love: Sip N Shop by Sweet Ash Soap {Jersey City}

Founder of Sweet “Ash” Soap Ashley Guzman says, “Love is in the air but don’t forget to love yourself first.” Join her and many other women for drinks, free brunch appetizers, and photobooth pictures on February 10^th from 12:00PM-4:00PM. Galentine’s Day Brunch at Monarch Rooftop {71 West 35th Street, New York}

Steps from the 33^rd Street PATH Station, Monarch Rooftop is hosting a boozy Galentine’s Day Brunch on February 10^th in New York. Not only can you bond with your girls while there, but Monarch is offering activities like Make Your Own Galentine, Prosecco Pong, and free hair styling for braids or curls. A raffle will also be available and all proceeds or donations will go to Bethany Frankel’s B Strong Foundation. Tickets are $35 and the event runs from 1:00PM-4:00PM.

DIY Valentine’s Gemstone Jewelry Workshop {190 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City}

Express your creativity and fall in love with the help of power crystals that open the Heart Chakra at this DIY jewelry workshop on February 9^th hosted by Modern Sage, Acuworx, and Crystal Path Creations. Learn how to make a Rose Quartz pendant and Emerald gemstone ring and even improve your self-care habits. The event will start with a short meditation for guests to become centered and refreshments will be served throughout. Galentine’s Paint + Sip at ArteVino Studio {720 Monroe Street, Hoboken} – waiting for photo permission

Paint with your best friends until your heart’s content on February 13^th at ArteVino Studio in Hoboken. The scene you’ll be recreating is a “Rosé Beach Day,”  something we’re all wishing for in the middle of February. The class is 50% off at $27 per person and runs from 7:30PM-9:30 PM. Galentine’s Night: Buttercream Roses at Sugarsuckle {600 Newark St, Hoboken}

Get ready to express your inner baker for girls’ night. On February 13^th, Sugarsuckle is teaming up with custom dessert shop Eat Cake Be Merry for this special event. You and your friends will learn all there is to know about working with buttercream and even creating buttercream roses. Bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer and walk away with six beautifully decorated cupcakes. Tickets are $65 per guest and the event is from 7:00PM-8:30 PM.

CDLPM COFFEE Galentine’s Day Party {1113 Hudson Street, Hoboken}

Visit the Hudson Coffee Co in uptown Hoboken on February 13^th to help CDLPM Coffee raise money for women and children at the Hope House in Jersey City. Drink champagne and have a bite to eat, all while supporting women empowerment at the local level. Tickets are $30 and the event is from 7:30PM-10:30 PM.

Galentine’s Essential Oil Workshop at ONE/SOL {1125 Maxwell Lane, Hoboken}
