Raise your hand if you could use a day of pampering.

Yeah… we thought so. Luckily, our beloved Mile Square is packed with great places to treat yo’self to a spa day — meaning you don’t have to worry about letting the crowds on the PATH or subway kill your vibe on your journey there and back again. We’ve rounded up four Hoboken spots to pamper yourself {just a few of our local faves} to get your much-needed me-time started.

Bliss Spa {225 River St.}

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of life, work, and commuting, look no further {psst – Hoboken is the only place in New Jersey you can find a Bliss Spa. Lucky us!}. Upon arrival, you’ll be escorted into a verrrry fancy “locker room” where you can slip out of your clothes and into a cozy robe. All before your appointment even begins, you’ll find the bathroom packed with Bliss products, a sauna, and a steam room — even just waiting for an appointment is super relaxing. {Insider tip: show up early to make the most of your time there.From massages to facials to mani/pedis and even laser hair removal, Bliss truly is a full service spa. We recommend checking out the services menu, as there are a TON of different options to choose from. First timer? We recommend the Triple Oxygen Facial — or as Bliss refers to it, “the facial that made us famous.” From firsthand experience, we can guarantee you’ll leave glowing, hydrated and happy.

Paris Spa Skin Care Center {939 Washington St.}

Tucked away in uptown Hoboken, just across from The Elysian, is Paris Spa Skin Care Center, an adorable, squeaky clean spa adorned with royal purple awnings. They take skincare very seriously here, which is great news for anyone looking to take your self care routine to the next level. We’re big fans of the Organic Facial {made from a custom blend of seasonal herbs, fruits, and vegetables — think of it as a green juice for your face}. If you’re looking to rid your skin of hyper pigmentation or acne scars, ask about the PCA peel — it’s meant to lighten those pesky spots and leave behind an even, glowing complexion.

Hoboken Wellness Spa {450 7th St.}

Any local business that promotes a holistic approach to health and wellness is something we can get on board with, and Hoboken Wellness Spa is {obviously} no exception. Located in the Citadel building on 7th Street, you may not have noticed this hidden gem during your day-to-day Hoboken travels, but we promise it’s worth stopping by. Aside from the standard spa treatments {massages, facials, waxings}, Hoboken Wellness Spa also offers holistic healing treatments like reiki, ear candling, and marma therapy.  Think of this as your one stop shop for feel-good beauty — both physically and mentally.

EC Beauty Studio {44 Hudson Pl.}

When it comes to pampering, convenience is key. Having to worry about squeezing in appointments between work, social, or family commitments isn’t exactly ideal {or relaxing}. That’s why we’re so grateful for places like EC Beauty Studio, which is open seven days a week and even takes evening appointments {#blessed}. In keeping with EC Beauty Studio’s theme of putting you first, we recommend trying the “You Facial” which is completely customized for your skin’s needs. This takes all the guess work out of viewing the menu prior to making an appointment and worrying about which facial will best suit your needs. Erica {the “EC” in EC Beauty Studio} will take one look at your skin and know exactly what to do. And can we just say… with skin like Erica’s, we gladly put our face in her hands. {Psst – they’re also part of our HG Deals Guide.}
